Multipurpose Pipe, Tube, and Hose Cutters

Cut plastic and rubber pipe, tubing, and hose.

Image of Product. Front orientation. Pipe, Tube, and Hose Cutters. Multipurpose Pipe, Tube, and Hose Cutters.
PTFE-Coated Steel Blade—Cutters with steel blades have a slippery PTFE coating that helps the blade smoothly cut soft plastic and rubber. However, it will scrape off if used on harder material such as PVC pipe.
Stainless Steel Blade—Cutters with stainless steel blades stay sharp longer than coated blades when cutting hard material. Because they are uncoated, you’ll feel more resistance when cutting.
Spring-Action Open—Spring-action cutters have jaws that open automatically when you release the handles.

    Easy-Cut Multipurpose Cutters

Image of Product. Front orientation. Multipurpose Cutters. Easy-Cut Multipurpose Cutters.
Avoid tiring your hand while making repeated cuts in a variety of material—from plastic pipes to wood dowel pins. These cutters ratchet to increase leverage, so they don’t require as much effort to squeeze the handles as standard multipurpose cutters. They slice through leather, plastic, rubber, and wood and come with multiple anvils for different jobs, reducing the number of tools you need to keep on hand. Made of stainless steel, their blade resists rusting if rinsed with water or rained on.
Swap out the anvils with the included L-key. For flat material, use the flat anvil. The 90° anvil stabilizes uneven material before you cut. For accurate cuts at precise angles, the miter angle anvil is notched at 15° from 45° to 120°. To stabilize pipes and tubes before cutting, use the anvils that match your tube OD.

    Cordless Plastic Pipe Cutters

Slice through thick plastic pipe up to 2” in diameter in only three seconds. These cutters are light enough to carry around and are good for up to 200 cuts on a single battery charge. Easy to use with one hand, they make perpendicular cuts with the pull of a trigger. The harder you press down on the trigger, the faster they cut. They don’t leave any burrs behind on your pipe, so you’ll have a clean edge to install a fitting. Since the blade is stainless steel and the jaw is aluminum, you don’t have to worry about rust when cutting through wet pipe.
Unlike manual cutters, there’s no need to repeatedly make adjustments or rotate them around your pipe. This makes them good for confined spaces—they need less than half an inch of clearance to cut through a pipe installed near a wall.
To prevent accidental cuts, you have to press a safety button as you pull the trigger. They also have a button that folds the blade into the head to keep it out of the way when not in use.
The battery and charger are sold separately.

Step 1: Cut pipe flush to fitting.

    Step 2: Drill to remove

    existing pipe.

Drill old pipe stubs out of fittings when replacing plastic pipe. These extractors let you reuse difficult-to-remove fittings, such as those in concrete floors, and install new pipe. Attach them to a power drill. Use the washer on the tip of these extractors to guide them down the center of pipe stubs. The cutter is sized to match the ID of your pipe fitting, so the blades remove all of the pipe and none of the fitting. The blades are angled to propel chips backwards so you don’t have to fish them out.

Ridgid Pipe Threader Adapters for Large-Size Pipe

Image of Product. Front orientation. Pipe Threader Adapters. Ridgid Pipe Threader Adapters for Large-Size Pipe.
Mount these adapters to your Ridgid 300 or 535A electric pipe threader to cut threads into large-size pipe and conduit. The adjustable die head threads pipe sizes 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2, and 4 with a single set of dies that you don’t have to change out as you work on various pipes. You can also switch from tapered (NPT) to straight (NPSM) threading with the flip of a handle. Twist these adapters by hand to tighten them securely around pipes before threading – no specialized tools needed. Once threading is complete, they automatically stop rotating to keep pipes from jamming in the dies, preventing damaged threads and delayed projects.
Adapters come with a Ridgid No. 38120 die set to cut threads in steel pipes. Mounting kits (sold separately) are required to connect the adapters to Ridgid 535A pipe threaders. To use these adapters with Ridgid 300 pipe threaders, you will need a connector loop and drive bar (sold separately).

Compact Metal and Plastic Tube Cutters for Tight Spots

Needing less than 1 1/2" of space around them, these cutters are great for crowded tubing systems. Their C-shape keeps them compact because there's no handle to get in the way as you spin them around your tubing. Snap them onto your tubing and a spring-loaded cutting wheel tightens as you turn them. Make sure to rotate it in the same direction as the arrows etched on the cutter.

Compact Metal and Plastic Tube Cutter Sets for Tight Spots

Image of Product. Front orientation. Pipe, Tube, and Hose Cutters. Compact Metal and Plastic Tube Cutter Sets for Tight Spots.
This set contains three of the most common sizes of tube cutters, neatly packed in a convenient carrying case. These cutters require less than 1 1/4" of space around them, making them ideal for use in crowded tubing systems. Also known as c-cutters, they don’t have a handle that gets in the way as you spin them to cut. Pick the right size for your job then snap the cutter onto your tubing. A spring-loaded cutting wheel tightens as you turn it. Make sure to rotate it in the same direction as the arrows etched on the cutter.

These blades have the longest life in our oscillating tool blade offering—they’ll stay sharp 100 times longer than bimetal blades with high-speed steel teeth. Use them to cut through wood, metal, plastic, and drywall without changing blades. Because of their size, they’re typically used for small jobs, such as making notches in sheet metal. These blades mount to your oscillating tool at any angle, so you can avoid awkward cutting angles and reach into tight spots.
Open Blade Mount—Since they’re open mount, they’re compatible with all non-Starlock tools.
Carbide Teeth—With teeth made of a specialized carbide blend, even hundreds of cuts through nail-filled wood won’t dull them down.
Black-Oxide Steel Body—They have a black oxide finish for mild corrosion resistance in dry environments.

Whether you’re plunge cutting in wood or trimming off the end of a nail, these sets have you covered. All blades have a coating that limits heat buildup and prevents your material from burning. Since they stay cool, they also resist dulling and getting gummed up with metal shards. Mount the blades to your tool at any angle to avoid awkward cutting angles and to reach tight spots.
Blades with high-speed steel teeth have teeth harder than carbon steel, so they cut harder materials. They have a carbon steel body, so they’re also known as bimetal blades. Blades with carbide-tipped steel teeth stay sharp 50 times longer than bimetal blades with high-speed steel teeth. The teeth are made of a carbide blend with titanium and cobalt, so they’re denser and harder than standard carbide teeth.
Curved blades have a slightly curved edge, so you can make plunge cuts without angling your tool like you would with a straight-edge blade. This allows for cleaner cuts with less tool vibration.
Starlock Blade Mount—Starlock-mount sets work with Starlock-compatible tools.
Open Blade Mount—Open-mount sets work with all non-Starlock tools.

Cut wood, metal, plastic, and drywall without changing blades. Also known as bimetal blades, these blades have a carbon steel body with high-speed steel teeth. Use these small blades for small jobs, from plunge cutting notches in sheet metal to flush cutting a protruding nail. Mount them to your oscillating tool at any angle to avoid awkward cutting angles and reach into tight spots.
Starlock Blade Mount—They fit Starlock-compatible tools.
High-Speed Steel Teeth—High-speed steel teeth are harder than steel teeth, so they can cut harder materials and last longer than carbon steel blades.
Curved Blade—Curved blades have a slightly curved edge, so you can make plunge cuts without having to angle your tool like you would with a straight-edge blade. This allows for cleaner cuts with less vibration.
Half-Round Blade—Half-round blades are shaped for more controlled cutting than our other blades, so they’re the best choice for curved, detailed cuts.

Cut wood twice as fast as standard oscillating tool blades. Also known as Japanese tool blades, each tooth has three bevels ground into it for increased sharpness. The teeth are designed to cut wood without leaving burn marks. Use them for small jobs, from straight and plunge cuts in tight spaces to curved cuts for custom designs. Mount them to your oscillating tool at any angle to avoid awkward cutting angles and to reach into tight spots.
Curved Blade—Curved blades have a slightly curved edge, so you can make plunge cuts without having to angle your tool like you would with a straight-edge blade. This allows for cleaner cuts with less tool vibration. These blades are finished with black oxide for mild corrosion resistance in dry environments.
Black-Oxide High-Speed Steel Teeth and High-Speed Steel Teeth—Made of high-speed steel, their teeth are harder than carbon steel teeth, so they last longer and cut harder materials.
Black-Oxide Carbon Steel Body and Carbon Steel Body—Since these blades have a carbon steel body, they’re also called bimetal blades.
Starlock Blade Mount—Starlock-mount blades work with Starlock-compatible tools.
Open Blade Mount—Open-mount blades work with all non-Starlock tools.

Cut wood, metal, plastic, and drywall without changing blades or losing sharpness. Because of their size, they’re typically used for small jobs, such as making notches in sheet metal. They mount to your oscillating tool at any angle, so you can avoid awkward cutting angles and reach into tight spots.
Starlock Blade Mount—Starlock-mount blades work with Starlock-compatible tools.
Open Blade Mount—Open-mount blades work with all non-Starlock tools.
Carbide-Tipped Steel Teeth—Their carbide-tipped steel teeth are harder than high-speed steel or carbon steel teeth. They stay sharp for 30 times longer than bimetal blades that have high-speed steel teeth.
Black-Oxide Carbon Steel Body and Black-Oxide Steel Body—For mild corrosion resistance in dry areas, these blades have a black oxide finish.
