    FEP—FEP tubing is high strength to resist abrasion, cuts, tears, and chemicals.
    Polyolefin—Polyolefin is for general purpose use.
    PTFE—PTFE has excellent abrasion resistance and withstands higher temperatures than other tubing.
    PVC—PVC tubing has excellent resistance to chemicals, oil, and acids.
    PVDF—PVDF resists abrasion, cuts, and tears.
    Adhesive Mount—Adhesive-mount polyolefin creates a water-resistant seal; the adhesive melts when heated and bonds to the underlying surface.

    High-Strength Heat-Shrink Tubing

    With excellent durability and chemical resistance, this tubing withstands demanding use.

    PVDF tubing resists cuts from being dragged over rough surfaces, along with tears from stretching or flexing. It has an additive that makes it flame retardant, so it resists combustion and minimizes the spread of flames.
    SAE AMS-DTL-23053/8—SAE AMS-DTL-23053/8 tubing meets requirements for material quality.
    UL 224 VW-1—Flame rated VW-1 tubing meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material.
    Dielectric Strength—Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown. The higher the dielectric strength of a material, the better it is for preventing electricity, heat, or signal from dissipating from wire and cable.

    Flame-Retardant Abrasion-Resistant Heat-Shrink Tubing

    Made of PVDF, this tubing has excellent cut and abrasion resistance. A flame-retardant additive makes it combustion resistant and minimizes the spread of flames. It’s flame rated VW-1 to meet requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material. Tubing meets SAE AMS-DTL-23053/18 Class 2 for material quality and color.
