This durable tubing has the best abrasion and wear resistance of all our hard tubing for chemicals. It can withstand a variety of acids and other harsh substances. Tubing is semi-clear, so you get a limited view inside the line. It is semi-flexible, so it’s good for gradual bends.
PVDF tubing is the most economical option. It is also known as Kynar.
Tubing that meets UL 94V0 is flame retardant, so it delays the spread of flames to valuable equipment.

Strong, yet pliable, this PVDF tubing is good for gradual bends and can handle repeated flexing. It is also known as Kynar. Suitable for use with food and beverage, it is made of FDA listed materials and meets NSF/ANSI 51 for food contact. Tubing also meets both NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 for use with drinking water systems. Tubing doesn’t contain plasticizers like DEHP, so it won’t impart tastes or odors to the fluid passing through it. It is semi-clear, so you get a limited view inside the line.

Pipe meets UL 94V0 for flame retardance, so it delays the spread of flames to valuable equipment. It is PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), which is comparable to Kynar, and has the chemical resistance to stand up to solvents and other harsh substances. Also known as Schedule 80 pipe, it has thick walls for heavy duty chemical processing applications. Pipe meets ASTM D3222 specifications and testing requirements for material quality.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings and pipe with compressed air or gas.
For technical drawings and 3-D models, click on a part number.
To prevent leaks in threaded connections, apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant to the male threads. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic threaded connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns.

With excellent resistance to tears and cuts, this tubing withstands demanding use. It also resists chemicals.
PVDF tubing has an additive that makes it flame retardant, so it resists combustion and minimizes the spread of flames.
AMS/MIL-DTL-23053/8 and AMS/MIL-DTL-23053/11 tubing meets requirements for material quality.
Flame rated VW-1 tubing meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material.
Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown. The higher the dielectric strength of a material, the better it is for preventing electricity, heat, or signal from dissipating from wire and cable.

Maintain a supply of tubing in a variety of sizes and materials that withstands harsh conditions such as abrasion, moisture, and chemicals.
PVC tubing has excellent resistance to chemicals, oil, and acids.
Polyolefin is for general purpose use. Polyolefin with adhesive creates a water-resistant seal; the adhesive melts when heated and bonds to the underlying surface.
PTFE has excellent abrasion resistance and withstands higher temperatures than other tubing.
FEP tubing is high strength to resist abrasion, cuts, tears, and chemicals.
PVDF resists abrasion, cuts, and tears.
