Luer Lock Couplings for Stainless Steel Tubing

- For Use With: Air
- Temperature Range: 32° to 350° F
- Tubing: Use with 304/304L or 316/316L stainless steel
Quickly connect low-pressure stainless steel lines with these couplings. Made of 316 stainless steel, they have excellent corrosion resistance. They’re easier to install than yor-lok or compression couplings—just insert tubing and twist the nut to seal—but they can’t handle as much pressure. Luer lock connections are universal, so you can connect any plug and socket to each other, regardless of the pipe or tube size. You can also connect them to syringes and needles. These couplings are open-flow style, so there is no shut-off valve to stop the flow when the coupling is separated. They have a compact body for installation in tight spaces.
Note: For a complete coupling, order a plug and a socket.
Plastic Quick-Disconnect Tube Couplings for Air and Water

Lighter in weight than their metal counterparts, these quick-disconnect couplings are made of acetal plastic. They are moisture resistant, so they won’t absorb water and lose strength, even in high-humidity environments. A complete coupling consists of a plug and socket; choose a set for both, or select a plug and socket separately. Because they're quick disconnect, they're helpful for lines you frequently need to access.
Latch-lock sockets connect and disconnect with just one hand. Join sockets with a push and disconnect sockets by pressing the latch.
Plugs and sockets with shut-off have a valve to stop the flow when the coupling is separated, so air or water won’t spill from your line.
Note: For a complete coupling, order a plug and a socket with the same coupling size.

- Temperature Range: -40° to 180° F
- Tubing: Use with firm or hard (Durometer 85A-60D) nylon plastic or polyethylene plastic
Compression plugs and sockets have a sleeve (ferrule) that compresses the tubing and forms a seal when you tighten the nut.

Brass Quick-Disconnect Tube Couplings for Air

- Temperature Range: 0° to 180° F
- Tubing: Use with hard polyethylene plastic or polypropylene plastic
An all-brass body gives these quick-disconnect couplings better durability than plastic quick-disconnect couplings. They’re nickel plated for very good corrosion resistance. Couplings consist of a plug and a socket that join with a latch, so you can easily connect and disconnect your line. To connect, insert the plug into the socket; to disconnect, press the latch and remove the plug.
Plugs and sockets with shut-off have a valve to stop the flow when the coupling is separated, so air won’t leak from your line.
Note: For a complete coupling, order a plug and a socket with the same coupling size.

Compression plugs and sockets have a sleeve (ferrule) that compresses the tubing and forms a seal when you tighten the nut.

Through-wall sockets are also known as bulkhead sockets and panel mount sockets; they mount through your wall or panel to create an inlet or outlet.

High-Pressure Quick-Disconnect Tube Couplings for Air

Not only are these chrome-plated brass couplings corrosion resistant, they’re also durable enough to handle pressures up to 250 psi and can be used with vacuum. Couplings consist of a plug and a socket (sold separately) that join with a latch, so you can frequently connect and disconnect your line. To connect, insert the plug into the socket; to disconnect, press the latch on the socket and remove the plug.
Plugs and sockets with open flow control give you higher flow rates than those with shut-off flow control. They also minimize pressure drops across the connection. For the best flow rates, pair an open flow plug with an open flow socket. Plugs and sockets with shut-off flow control have a valve that stops air from leaking out when you detach the coupling.
Note: For a complete coupling, order a plug and a socket with the same coupling size.

- Tubing: Use with firm or hard (Durometer 85A-60D) nylon plastic or polyethylene plastic
Compression fittings bite into hard metal or plastic tubing in low-pressure and medium-pressure applications. They’re also known as flareless fittings.

Brass Luer Lock Tube Couplings for Air

Quickly connect low-pressure air lines with these luer lock couplings. Made of brass, they are stronger and more durable than plastic tube couplings. These couplings have a nickel plating for extra protection against corrosive environments. Luer lock connections are universal, so you can connect any plug and socket to each other, regardless of the pipe or tube size. You can also connect them to syringes and needles. These couplings have a compact body, so they’re easy to fit in tight spaces. All are open-flow style, so there is no shut-off valve to stop the flow when the coupling is separated.
Note: For a complete coupling, order a plug and a socket.
Plastic Luer Lock Tube Couplings for Air and Water

- For Use With: Nylon Plastic: Air, Water
Polycarbonate Plastic: Air
Polypropylene Plastic: Water - Temperature Range: See table
- Tubing: Use with soft (Durometer 40A-65A) PVC plastic or silicone rubber
Made of plastic, these couplings are lighter in weight than metal luer lock couplings. They're a popular choice in labs because of their versatility—they fit any other luer lock plug, socket, syringe, or needle. Quick to attach and detach, they’re often used in lines that are frequently disconnected. They have a compact body for easy installation in tight spaces. Use them in low-pressure applications. These couplings are open-flow style, so there is no shut-off valve to stop the flow when they’re separated.
Nylon couplings have excellent impact and abrasion resistance. They’re for general purpose applications. Polypropylene couplings won’t absorb water and lose strength, even in high-humidity environments. They also stand up to chemicals, including solvents.
Plugs with a locking ring are more secure than those without a locking ring. Give the ring a half turn to lock these couplings in place. You can’t remove the locking ring.
Note: For a complete coupling, order a plug and a socket.
