Split Rings

Also known as key rings, twist these rings into place to secure clevis pins, connect components, or add a pull handle. They don't have the sharp ends of other cotter pins.

Rings with a length and width are 50% stronger than those with similar ODs and IDs.

Zinc-Plated Carbon Steel—Zinc-plated carbon steel rings have good strength and some corrosion resistance.

18-8 Stainless Steel—18-8 stainless steel rings offer a balance of strength and corrosion resistance. They may be mildly magnetic.

316 Stainless Steel—316 stainless steel rings have the best corrosion resistance of our stainless steel split rings, and are as strong as 18-8 stainless steel pins. They may be mildly magnetic.

260 Brass—260 Brass rings are rust resistant, electrically conductive, and nonmagnetic.
