    Reamers for Dowel-Pin Holes

    Finish holes to match standard fractional dowel pin sizes. These reamers are undersized with a very slight taper to ensure dowel pins fit snugly when installed.

    Straight Flute

    These reamers fit in the chuck of drill presses, turret lathes, and other machine and power tools, making them the most common shank type.
    Straight Flute—The most common flute style, these reamers are suitable for a wide range of applications, but not recommended for holes with a keyway or other breaks in the surface.
    High-Speed Steel—Durable and wear resistant, these are good for general purpose reaming in most materials.

    Reamer Sets for Dowel-Pin Holes

    Finish holes to match standard fractional dowel pin sizes. These sets include two reamers for each size within the range listed. One reamer is slightly below the size while the other is slightly above the size, so you can choose how snug your dowel pin will fit in the hole.
