Slide a single set of these dies into your Ridgid 141 adapter to cut threads in pipe and conduit sized 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2, and 4. Made of high-speed steel, the dies stay sharp and cut cleanly even with repeated use.
Drive Bars

Pair these drive bars with a connector loop (sold separately) to the attach Ridgid 141 adapter to the front of the Ridgid 300 pipe threader. The drive bar rotates the pipe through the adapter to create threads. Because pipes turn during threading, you’ll need to mount yours in a stand to keep it level.

Ratchets and Handles

No electric pipe threader, no problem. Attach the ratchet and handle to the Ridgid 141 adapter, then crank the handle to cut threads into pipe by hand. Although manually threading one pipe can take up to 30 minutes, it’s ideal when you need to avoid generating electrical sparks in environments where flammable materials are present. Threading oil (not included) is required.

Support Bar Connector Loops
![]() |
Pair these connector loops with a drive bar (sold separately) to attach the Ridgid 141 adapter to the front of the Ridgid 300 pipe threader. The loop keeps the adapter stable as the pipe rotates to create threads. Because pipes turn during threading, you’ll need to mount yours in a stand to keep it level.

Universal Drive Shafts
![]() |
Thread pipe and conduit that can’t be budged, such as those mounted through walls or attached to pipelines. These universal drive shafts join the Ridgid 141 adapter to either the Ridgid 300 or 535A pipe threader. They rotate the adapter instead of the pipe to cut threads. There’s no need to remove the pipe cutter or reamer from your threader, but these drive shafts require three feet of clearance around equipment and pipes for safe operation.

Ridgid Pipe Threader Adapters for Large-Size Pipe
![]() |
Mount these adapters to your Ridgid 300 or 535A electric pipe threader to cut threads into large-size pipe and conduit. The adjustable die head threads pipe sizes 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2, and 4 with a single set of dies that you don’t have to change out as you work on various pipes. You can also switch from tapered (NPT) to straight (NPSM) threading with the flip of a handle. Twist these adapters by hand to tighten them securely around pipes before threading – no specialized tools needed. Once threading is complete, they automatically stop rotating to keep pipes from jamming in the dies, preventing damaged threads and delayed projects.
Adapters come with a Ridgid No. 38120 die set to cut threads in steel pipes. Mounting kits (sold separately) are required to connect the adapters to Ridgid 535A pipe threaders. To use these adapters with Ridgid 300 pipe threaders, you will need a connector loop and drive bar (sold separately).
Ridgid No. 70640 Die Set—Use these dies if you need to cut threads in stainless steel pipe. The angled teeth stay sharp and cut cleanly for repeated use.
Ridgid No. D-1440 Ratchet and Handle—No electric pipe threader, no problem. Attach the ratchet and handle to the adapter to cut threads by hand. Although manually threading one pipe can take up to 30 minutes, it’s ideal when you need to avoid generating electrical sparks in environments where flammable materials are present.
Ridgid No. 96725 Case—Keep your adapter working like new for years. Made from powder-coated steel, these sturdy cases keep out moisture, dust, and grime.
Ridgid No. 840A Universal Drive Shaft—Thread pipes that can’t be budged, such as those mounted through walls or attached to pipelines. The shaft rotates the adapter, instead of the pipe, to cut threads.
