Steel Twist-Resistant Rivet Nuts
About twice as strong as aluminum rivet nuts, these steel rivet nuts are zinc yellow-chromate plated for corrosion resistance. A ribbed body holds the nut in place so it won't turn when tightening a screw. Also known as blind inserts, they can be installed when you have access to only one side of the material. Install in a drilled hole using a rivet nut tool. The tool collapses the nut, creating a backside flange that holds the nut to the material. Length is measured from under the flange. Installed length is the maximum length of the barrel when installed.

Twist-Resistant Rivet Nuts for Soft Materials
Wedges under the flange lock the nut in place in soft materials such as brass and aluminum, so it won't turn when tightening a screw. Flange-Sealing Rivet Nuts
The PVC foam seal under the flange keeps liquids and gasses from leaking between the nut and the surrounding material. These rivet nuts have a ribbed body to hold them in place when tightening a screw. The body is aluminum and mildly corrosion resistant. Install in a drilled hole using a rivet nut tool. The tool collapses the nut, creating a backside flange that holds the nut to the material. Length is measured from under the flange. Installed length is the maximum length of the barrel when installed.

Aligning Rivet Nuts
Threads float inside the nut so you can install a screw at a slight angle to align with off-center parts. They’re also known as Riv-Float nuts. A ribbed body makes them resistant to spinning and twisting. They're zinc plated for mild corrosion resistance. Install in a drilled hole with a wrench-driven tool (required, sold separately). Heavy Duty Twist-Resistant Rivet Nut Assortments
A ribbed-shaped body holds the nut in place so it won't move when tightening a screw. Assortments contain rivet nuts, mandrels, nosepieces, and a plier-style installation tool. Made from zinc yellow-chromate plated seel, they resist corrosion in wet environments. To install, thread a rivet nut onto the mandrel, insert the nut into a drilled hole, and squeeze the handles to secure the nut.
