Robot Bases

Elevate robot arms with these bases so they can reach onto raised surfaces, such as conveyor belts or workstations. Made from steel, these bases are strong and built to last—they’re also machinable and weldable, so you can modify the mounting plates to suit your application. Secure them to the ground or other flat surface using the holes in the bottom plate. Additional holes are designed to level the bases—thread fasteners (not included) through each hole and adjust their depth to compensate for uneven floors.
For technical drawings and 3-D models, click on a part number.

Bolt-on bases come with mounting holes that match the patterns on commonly used robot arms.
Bases with cable routing hole are hollow, so you can feed cables, wires, and tubes through the center column. These bases help keep your cables organized and out of the way.

45° base extensions tilt your robot arm forward so that it can reach lower than if it were mounted horizontally. These extensions help your robot arm reach inside machines or deep boxes, or downward onto a work surface. Mount them to a flat surface, or to the top of another base with a cable routing hole. They include fasteners to attach them to another base, but not to flat surfaces.

Positioning Slides for Universal Robots
![]() Shown with Robot Arm (Not Included) | ![]() |

Extend the horizontal reach of your Universal Robots’ arm to operate your robot at multiple positions along an assembly line, or transport workpieces from a conveyor to your CNC. All of these slides have a carriage, slide controller, and software plug-in for connecting, operating, and programming your robot’s arm. The slides become an extension of the arm, so you can program how they glide back and forth on the rail as part of the robot's work cycle. A cable management system keeps your cables from tangling while the slides are in motion.
These slides are all Universal Robots+ (UR+) certified products, and have been validated by Universal Robots for compatibility and simple integration with UR robot arms. Pair them with Telescoping Bases for Universal Robots to also extend the vertical reach of your robot’s arm.

Telescoping Bases for Universal Robots

Take your Universal Robots arm to new heights—these bases move up and down to extend your robot’s vertical reach for high and low stacking jobs. Often used for loading boxes off a conveyor, they start at ground level and reach higher as they need to stack boxes on top of each other. The bases have a mounting plate, base controller, and software plug-in for connecting, operating, and programming your arm. They become an extension of the arm, so you can program how they move as part of the robot's work cycle. Use the threaded holes on the bases and mounting plate to attach accessories, such as a cable management system.
These bases are all Universal Robots+ (UR+) certified products, and have been validated by Universal Robots for compatibility and simple integration with UR robot arms. Pair these bases with Positioning Slides for Universal Robots to also extend the horizontal reach of your robot’s arm.

Robot Base Mounts
Secure your robot arm to benches, frames, or other surfaces with these base mounts. Made from aluminum, they’re machinable, so you can drill holes to match them to custom mounting patterns. They also resist corrosion in wet environments.
Attach mounts for T-slotted framing to frames and workstations made from T-slotted framing using brackets, nuts, and fasteners (not included). Bolt them to your robot arm through mounting holes on the face.
Quick-connect mounts have two halves joined by a quick-connect clamp, so you can easily disconnect your robot arm from a base. You’ll need both a robot-base mounting adapter, which connects to your robot, and a robot base mount, which is bolted to a flat surface. Release the clamp to move your robot arm from one base to another, or to switch arms at a workstation. Two locating pins ensure that the arm is accurately aligned with the base, so you don’t need to calibrate after each move. Adapters come with hardware to attach them to your robot arm, but mounts do not include fasteners to attach them to a surface.
