    Manual Steel Roll-Up Doors

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Roll-Up Doors. Manual Steel Roll-Up Doors.
Secure dock doorways and other large openings. Whether installed in interior or exterior doorways, these doors resist corroding due to their primed, galvanized steel construction. Their rugged material also stands up to frequent, long-term use so you can open and close them as often as needed. They roll smoothly and quietly in the track thanks to plastic wear strips along their sides. Cut the track to size for a perfect fit in your doorway. Mount them in wood, steel, or masonry jambs. Each door includes two steel tracks, two slide bolts, and mounting fasteners.
Chain—Doors that open with a chain include the chain pull. Mount the chain on either the right or left side of the door.
Automatic Openers—Pair doors with an automatic opener (sold separately) for easy operation or to open and close them from a distance. The automatic opener slides over the axle on one end of the door drum for quick installation. The openers include a wireless wall button, two remotes, and light-beam sensing switches to stop or reverse the door if an object is detected.

    Door Installed with Machine

    Guard (Not Included)

Image of Product. Front orientation. Machine Guards. Automatic Roll-Up Machine Guard Doors.
Maximize safety and minimize machine downtime between processes—these doors stop dangerous machinery from running when they’re open, and close in just seconds with the press of a button. Compared to other machine guard doors, they’re faster, taking only two seconds to raise and lower. They also require less floor space than light curtains because they don’t require safety zones. A safety interlock switch signals your programmable logic controller (PLC) to shut off equipment as soon as the door starts to open. Once the door is fully closed, it sends a signal to restart your machine. They have two photocell sensors for full safety coverage. If interrupted, the door will stop and reverse to the fully open position. Unlike light curtains, these doors function as a physical barrier between hazardous equipment and personnel. They’re made of vinyl fabric to keep projectiles, fluid splatter, sparks, and other machine hazards contained.
Combine these doors with machine guard panels (not included) or install them into an existing system to create a complete barrier around machinery. They have aluminum side frames that mount directly to the floor to keep them anchored in place. You can easily access parts for maintenance by removing the cover on the side panels.
In the event of a power outage, open them manually using a hand crank. These doors are only for use indoors.
8 ft. Wide Opening—Doors with an 8’ opening width can accommodate forklifts.
8 ft. High Opening—Doors with an 8’ opening height can accommodate personnel.

    Remotes

An electric motor rolls these doors up and down to prevent temperature loss, control sound, and keep dust and debris at bay. They’re often used on loading docks and storage room doorways. Made of durable PVC-coated vinyl, these doors won’t rot, tear, or grow mildew. A full-width window lets in light and gives you visibility to the other side of the door to see oncoming traffic.
The panels on these doors are held together by corrosion-resistant breakaway bars. If something collides into these doors, such as a forklift, the bars won’t bend or break. Instead, they release from the track on impact to prevent damage.
Use the included remote controls to open these doors from a distance. Additional remotes are sold separately.
8 Cycles per Hour—Doors with 8 cycles per hour have an internal electric motor. It's already wired to the door, so you only need to connect the included switch to get these doors moving. However, internal motors aren’t as powerful as external motors, so these doors operate at slower speeds. Because these doors only open and close eight times an hour, they’re suitable for use in areas with light traffic. They can be mounted either on the face of a wall or within a door jamb. In a door jamb, they require 8 1/2" of headroom, 8 1/2" of jamb depth, and 5" on each side.
30 Cycles per Hour—Doors with 30 cycles per hour have a powerful external, direct-drive motor, so they operate faster than internal motor doors. Because they can open and close up to 30 times an hour, they’re suitable for medium-traffic areas. However, external motors require more installation space. In addition to a remote, they also have a control box used to open, close, or stop the door. It has a timer you can program to automatically close the door after a set duration. The control box is rated NEMA 4X to seal out dirt, dust, and water from washdowns. A safety sensor at the base of these doors will stop them from closing if an obstruction is detected. Mount these doors on the face of a wall. Sized to be slightly larger than your door opening, they fit over imperfectly aligned doorways without an issue.

Keep drafty dock areas warm. These seals block drafts between dock door seals and levelers. They’re filled with foam, so you can squish them into gaps for a tight seal. The weighted base will keep them in place. Use the handle to pull them out of gaps and carry them.
