Sanitary Sealed Easy-Install Single U-Joints



Connect misaligned shafts in sanitary environments such as food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical plants. These U-joints have a highly polished surface to eliminate crevices where bacteria could grow. A heat- and water-resistant silicone boot keeps lubricant in and contaminants out, and the lubricant is NSF registered for incidental food contact. U-joints are made of 316 stainless steel, so they won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners.
These U-joints connect to shafts using a keyway and included set screws. Unlike standard U-joints, there’s no drilling or spring pin required for connecting to shafts. All have needle bearings for operating at higher speeds than other types of bearings.
FDA-compliant U-joints have a boot that is approved for direct contact with food.
