    Push the spring-loaded pin or collar to fasten these shackles, then pull it to release them. Traditionally used to secure and adjust lines on boats, they open faster than shackles with a screw or cotter pin.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
    Collar-Release Shackles—Pull the collar or sides of these shackle to open them. The collar keeps the shackle closed and smooth sides so it won’t snag surfaces or get pulled open accidentally.
