These valves operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear.
Normally closed valves are closed unless actuated. Normally open valves are open unless actuated.
Nickel-plated brass valves are more corrosion resistant than plain brass valves. 304 stainless steel valves are more corrosion resistant than nickel-plated and plain brass valves. 316 stainless steel valves have excellent corrosion resistance.
Zero pressure drop valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. Pressure drop assisted valves require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet for operation; the upstream pressure must be greater than the downstream pressure.
NEMA 2 valves resist light splashing water and dust. NEMA 4 valves resist washdowns, splashing water, and dust. NEMA 4X valves resist washdowns, splashing water, corrosive liquid, and dust.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Often used to control single-acting, spring-return air cylinders, these valves have a third threaded port to exhaust media. They operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow.
These valves are normally closed and exhaust media unless actuated; when actuated, they close the exhaust port and reverse the direction of flow to send media to equipment. Valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear. Valves meet NEMA 4X for resistance to washdowns, splashing water, corrosive liquid, and dust.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

To stand up to aggressive and corrosive solutions in chemical-processing applications, these valves have a plastic body and a fluoroelastomer seal. They operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow. Valves have union fittings on each end that separate into multiple pieces for easy installation and removal from your pipeline.
