This sleeving withstands temperatures over 1000° F, such as in refineries. Made of fiberglass, it resists acids, alkalies, oil, and solvents so it won’t degrade when exposed to substances such as grease, ammonia, or harsh detergents. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect.
Acrylic-coated sleeving is heat treated and has good abrasion and chemical resistance. It’s more rigid and fray resistant than uncoated fiberglass sleeving.
Tightly braided sleeving is more fray resistant than other uncoated fiberglass sleeving.

Unlike fiberglass and silica, this sleeving won't irritate skin, so it’s easier to handle. It withstands open flame and molten metal splash, making it a good choice for welding applications. The ceramic fabric also resists acids, alkalies, alcohol, solvents, oil, and gasoline. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect. It meets MIL-I-24244B for material quality.

Made of silica, this sleeving can withstand higher temperatures than fiberglass. It resists open flame and molten metal splash, so it’s a good choice for welding applications. It also withstands oil and gasoline. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect.

Tightly braided nylon fibers give this sleeving excellent abrasion resistance. As it wears, the fibers frizz and make the outer wall thicker for improved protection. The interior is smooth to reduce snags during installation. It meets Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) standards for fire protection in mines. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect.
