    Reinforcing Fabric Grommets

    These grommets handle thick materials and strain from fabric that’s frequently pulled or stretched. Strike a cutting punch with a mallet to create the hole, then set the grommet using either an installation punch or a press. Installation tools are sold separately.
    Rolled Rim with Tooth-Lock Washer

    Teeth grip the fabric for an even stronger hold than other reinforcing fabric grommets. Use these washers for fabric under the highest strain, such as a tarp secured by bungee cords.
    Brass—Add a bright finish to your fabric.
    Nickel-Plated Brass—The nickel gives these a more muted, silvery look than our other brass grommets.
    Stainless Steel—Our most corrosion-resistant fabric grommets, they last the longest when exposed to sun, rain, dirt, and grease.
    Grommet Trade Size—Make sure your grommet, hole, and installation tools have the same trade size.

    Hammer-Driven Installation Punch—The economical choice if you’re installing a few grommets at a time. Align the grommet base, fabric, and washer on the die (included). A few sharp taps on the punch cinch the grommet in the hole. Use a rubber or rawhide mallet rather than a metal hammer to preserve the head of the punch.

    Fabric Grommets

    Add a protective metal ring to a hole so rope and cable don’t tear your tarp, cover, or curtain. To install, strike a cutting punch with a mallet to create the hole, then set the grommet using either an installation punch or a press. All of these grommets can be used outdoors.
