Elbow Corrosion-Resistant Air Flow Control Valves

Threaded
Female Outlet

Mount these valves directly to cylinder ports, eliminating additional tubing or piping between the cylinder and valve for better control than inline valves. Made of stainless steel and plastic parts, they’re more corrosion resistant than valves made of brass, aluminum, or zinc. Use them to control the speed of air-powered equipment by adjusting the volume of airflow. They control flow in one direction as air moves from the inlet to the outlet. Air flows freely in the opposite direction.
Meter out valves control flow as it exits the cylinder.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is a measurement that indicates how much airflow can pass through a valve. When selecting between valves with the same port size, choose the valve with the higher flow coefficient to ensure it provides enough airflow to operate your system.

Single-Action Air Directional Control Valves

Manually control these valves by pushing or turning the actuator. Also known as 3-way or 3/2 valves, they create one action, such as extending a cylinder. They direct airflow from the inlet to your equipment and exhaust return airflow to create motion. In the off position, they exhaust air pressure from the system, allowing equipment to reset so the action can be repeated.
Normally closed valves block airflow until actuated.
Valves with hand return actuation stay actuated and go back to their starting position only when you move the actuator again. Valves with spring return actuation go back to their starting position as soon as you release the actuator.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is a measurement that indicates how much airflow can pass through a valve. When selecting between valves with the same port size, choose the valve with the higher flow coefficient to ensure it provides enough airflow to operate your system.

Sanitary Pressure-Regulating Valves

- For Use With: Food and Beverage
- Temperature Range: -40° to 120°F
- Specifications Met: 3-A Certified 64-00, ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class III, FDA Compliant 21 CFR 177.2600
Regulate air, gas, and liquid pressure on food, beverage, and pharmaceutical lines with these valves—they’re 3-A certified to meet sanitary design standards. Attach them to your line to reduce a high, variable inlet pressure to a lower, stable outlet pressure.
Twist the T-handle on top of the valve to adjust the outlet pressure. When the valve is closed, a seal on the outlet prevents leaks and helps maintain consistent pressure. These valves meet ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class III, which means a maximum of 0.1% of fluid, gas, or air can escape while they are fully closed. The spring and valve mechanism are sealed behind the diaphragm, so contaminants can’t enter. Both the diaphragm and seals hold up to water, detergents, and chemicals. They’re also FDA compliant for direct contact with food.
Made of 316 stainless steel, these valves won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners. They connect to your line with quick-clamp sanitary fittings, also known as tri-clamp connections, which are easier to remove and sanitize than threaded connections. The polished interior is extremely smooth, so there’s nowhere for bacteria to hide. They’re also self-draining, so liquids drain completely and don’t contaminate your line. Keep these valves open during clean-in-place (CIP) cycles with a locking pin.

Flanged Air-Driven On/Off Valves for Chemicals

- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Water, Oil, Air, Natural Gas, Propane, Butane, Acetone, Argon, Carbon Dioxide, Deionized Water, Diesel Fuel, Ethanol, Ethylene Glycol, Fuel Oil, Gasoline, Helium, Kerosene, Methanol, Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Mineral Spirits, Neon, Nitric Acid, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Salt Water, Soap Solutions, Steam, Xenon, Citric Acid, Krypton
- Ball Material: 316 Stainless Steel
- Seal Material : PTFE Plastic
- Seat Material: PTFE Plastic
- Actuator Housing Material: Aluminum
- Specifications Met: ASME B16.34
A 316 stainless steel body and a PTFE seal stand up to aggressive and corrosive solutions in chemical-processing applications. Their ball-valve design allows these valves to handle at least three times the flow of standard flanged valves. For faster actuation than motor-driven valves, they operate on compressed air. You must control the air to the actuator using either the included electric pilot valve or a manual on/off valve (not included). These valves automatically start and stop flow and don't require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation.
Valves are full port, so they do not restrict flow. The actuator is secured to the valve body with a bracket for easy disassembly, maintenance, and repair. A visual flow indicator on the top of the actuator shows whether the valve is open or closed. The manual override allows you to operate the valve during power outages.
Single-acting actuators only require air pressure to open the valve; they automatically spring closed when the air turns off. These valves are normally closed unless actuated. Double-acting actuators require air pressure to open and close the valve. Once actuated, these valves remain actuated until air pressure is applied to close them, so they do not have a valve starting position.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

High-Flow Flanged Motor-Driven On/Off Valves

- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Water, Oil, Air, Argon, Helium, Krypton, Neon, Steam, Xenon
- Seal Material : PTFE Plastic
- Specifications Met: ASME B16.34
Their ball-valve design allows these valves to handle at least three times the flow of standard flanged valves. All operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow. They don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. All are fail in place; upon loss of power, the valve will remain in its current position. Valves are full port, so they do not restrict flow.
The actuator is secured to the valve body with a bracket for easy disassembly, maintenance, and repair. A visual flow indicator on the top of the actuator shows whether the valve is open or closed. Two single pole, double throw (SPDT) auxiliary switches allow you to connect these valves to temperature-monitoring equipment, programmable logic controllers, or conveyor sirens. The internal heater automatically turns on when the valve is actuated to prevent motor damage caused by condensation buildup. A manual override allows you to operate the valve during power outages.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.
