Style A—Style A have an offset lower handle, which makes it easy to cut heavy steel strapping and prevents bruised knuckles.
Style B—Styles B hold both ends of properly-tightened strapping until tension is released. This reduces your chances of injury from sharp flying strap ends.
Style C—Styles C hold both ends of properly-tightened strapping until tension is released. This reduces your chances of injury from sharp flying strap ends. They have rubber compression pads to help you control tight straps and are made in the U.S. for superior quality.

Style B—Style B have flat, overlapping jaws that fit under a cable tie’s head to cut the strap beneath. They snip through one end of the strap while pinching the other, so the cable tie doesn’t fall.
Style C—Style C are lightweight and have an ergonomic handle to reduce hand fatigue when making repeat cuts. They have an enclosed blade to protect fingers and prevent accidental cuts. The nosepiece on these tools fits around your cable tie's strap, shielding your bundle from the blade. Three nosepieces are included to fit different sizes of cable ties.
Style D—Style D have an enclosed blade to shield fingers and prevent accidental cuts. Open the handles to slide a cable tie into the slot, then squeeze them shut to slice through the tie. These palm-sized tools can fit into a pocket or hang from a key ring.
