Steel Slotted Oval Head Screws

Painted to match the color of switches and outlet covers, these are also known as wall plate screws. They have a simple yet effective drive style for light duty tasks. With only two contact points, the slotted drive is the most basic drive style. The slot can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them instead of using power tools.
Length is measured from the top of the bevel.
Standard—Standard-profile heads are the most common choice for oval head screws.
