Made of recycled HDPE plastic, these sheets are more sustainable and economical than standard marine-grade moisture-resistant HDPE sheets. They won’t absorb moisture or swell when exposed to humidity. They also won’t degrade in salt water. However, their properties have more variance and broader ranges than material that is not recycled. Because these sheets have a low carbon footprint, they can help you meet criteria for sustainability certifications, such as LEED and Envision, or comply with company environmental initiatives. All of these sheets have a coarse texture that hides scuffs and scratches.

Widely used for vehicle interiors and equipment housings, these sheets maintain their physical properties after thermoforming. They resist many corrosive chemicals and cleaning solutions. One side is smooth; the other side has a coarse texture to mask scratches, scuffs, and fingerprints. This material is comparable to Kydex.

Often used as a separator when heating parts in an oven, this wear-resistant film can also protect surfaces when etching or sanding. Also called PET and PETE, polyester resists swelling when exposed to moisture. When used as a separator, film should be cut larger than the piece it is being released from.
Film with a coarse texture masks scuffs, scratches, and fingerprints.
A satin texture on one side of these PETG sheets makes them semiclear. The other side is smooth. You can see light from the other side, but not detailed shapes. They are more resistant to scratching and glare than standard PETG. They’re often formed into complex shapes such as displays, signs, and trays, and are easy to cut with sheet metal shears. These sheets have better impact strength than Plexiglas® Acrylic and can be used in similar applications.

PTFE has a naturally slippery surface that allows objects to easily slide across it. It resists most solvents and stands up to extreme temperatures. It’s also an excellent electrical insulator.
Film with a coarse texture masks scratches, scuffs, and fingerprints.

Often used for windows, signs, and windshields, these extruded acrylic sheets and bars offer nearly the same performance as cast acrylic at a lower price. They’re a better choice for outdoor use than polycarbonate because they are UV and scratch resistant and will maintain clarity over time.
Matte sheets have a nonglare finish on one side; the other side is glossy.
