Apply more torque than your wrench can deliver on its own. Internal gears multiply the amount of force (or torque) that can be applied to the fastener. Use a multiplier with a torque wrench to ensure you do not exceed the maximum input torque. Place the bracing bar or bracing foot against a stationary object to keep the multiplier in place. Accuracy is rated on the torque output.
Backlash Protection—Multipliers with backlash protection prevent the wrench from swinging back when torqued.
Overtorque Protection—Multipliers with overtorque protection have an output square drive that shears off to protect the gears when overtorqued.
Bracing Foot—Multipliers that also include a bracing foot let you work in tight spots too. But keep in mind, using a bracing foot requires more effort to apply the same force compared to using a bracing bar because it can't distribute the force as much.
Torque Multiplication—To determine torque output, use the Torque Multiplication factor. For example, if the torque multiplication factor is 3.3X and you apply 100 ft.-lbs. of torque, the torque output would be 330 ft.-lbs.

Anchor these multipliers for added stability and to apply more torque than your wrench can deliver on its own. Internal gears multiply the amount of force (or torque) that can be applied to the fastener. To mount the multiplier, place a socket between the anchor on the bracing plate and a secured fastener. Use with a torque wrench to ensure you do not exceed the maximum input torque. Multipliers have backlash protection that prevents the wrench from swinging back when torqued. In case of overtorque, the output square drive shears off to protect the gears. Accuracy is rated on the torque output.
Torque Multiplication—To determine torque output, use the Torque Multiplication factor. For example, if the torque multiplication factor is 3.3X and you apply 100 ft.-lbs. of torque, the torque output would be 330 ft.-lbs.

Get the force of a standard torque multiplier without the bulk. These multipliers are less than 2" high, so they fit where you have limited clearance above a fastener. Use them to apply more torque than your wrench can deliver on its own. Internal gears multiply the amount of force (or torque) that can be applied to the fastener. To avoid exceeding the maximum input torque, pair these multipliers with a torque wrench.
Torque Multiplication—To determine torque output, use the torque multiplication factor. For example, if the torque multiplication factor is 3.9X and you apply 100 ft.-lbs. of torque, the torque output would be 390 ft.-lbs.
Bracing Arms—You can also attach a bracing arm (sold separately) to absorb the backlash after the fastener is tight. Accuracy is rated on the torque output.
