These hardened stainless steel screws combine excellent corrosion resistance with strength comparable to Grade 9 steel. Use them for heavy duty stamping applications as well as earth-moving machinery, such as bulldozers and excavators. The head makes 12 points of contact with a wrench to handle more torque than a socket head or hex head screw. The flange distributes pressure where the screw meets the surface, eliminating the need for a separate washer. To install, use a 12-point wrench that matches the head width of your screw. Screws may be mildly magnetic.

Coarse Thread—Coarse threads are the industry standard; choose these screws if you don’t know the threads per inch.

Fine Thread—Fine threads are closely spaced to prevent loosening from vibration.

18-8 Stainless Steel—18-8 stainless steel screws have good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic.

450 Stainless Steel—450 stainless steel screws are more corrosion resistant than 18-8 stainless steel screws and have good resistance to chemicals and salt water. They are magnetic.

Length—Length is measured from under the flange.

Thread Spacing—Match the thread spacing of mating components.

Head Height—Head height includes the flange.
