Bend-and-Stay Very Flexible Metal Duct Hose for Fumes

- Temperature Range: Aluminum: -100° to 400° F; 304 Stainless Steel: -400° to 800° F
Form elbows and bends with this hose and it will hold its shape without support. Hose is not for continuous flexing. Use with smoke, sparks, paint fumes, welding fumes, and oil fumes. For IDs 8” and larger, expect a bit more rigidity due to its large diameter. It’s still bendable but will require more force than smaller sizes to shape.
Aluminum is lighter than stainless steel and has good corrosion resistance.
304 stainless steel is more durable than aluminum and has very good corrosion resistance.

Insulated Bend-and-Stay Metal Duct Hose for Air

Bend this hose into position in heating and cooling applications where it’s important to maintain the temperature of the air inside the hose. Unlike fabric duct hose, this lightweight aluminum hose holds its shape once it’s curved around corners. It’s insulated with a layer of fiberglass, so it keeps air flowing through at a consistent temperature even when it’s routed through hot or cold spaces. The metalized film cover seals out moisture, protecting the insulation underneath.
This hose is not meant to be continuously flexed. Lengths beyond 6 ft. may need support.

Gray cast iron machines faster with less wear on cutting tools than most types of steel. It also absorbs vibration, so finished parts run quieter than those made of steel. It's often fabricated into gears, pulleys, rollers, and bushings. This cast iron can be surface hardened with heat treating for added wear resistance. These tubes have been manufactured to meet ASTM A247 standards for quality and performance.
