Twist-and-Lock Base Light Bulbs

These bulbs lock into GU24 light sockets with a twist. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. Bulbs with a warm light appearance have yellow tones. Bulbs with a neutral light appearance are commonly used in workspaces. A bulb’s estimated yearly cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.
LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than CFL bulbs. They generate little heat, withstand vibration, and are shatterproof.
CFL (compact fluorescent) bulbs are energy efficient but take several seconds to reach full brightness. They cannot be sold to Canada because they do not meet local efficiency standards and exceed local regulatory limits on mercury (for disposal information, visit www.epa.gov/cfl).

Twist-and-Lock Base Floodlight Bulbs

These bulbs have a bi-pin connection to lock into sockets. Often used in recessed can fixtures and track lighting, they produce a focused beam of light. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. Bulbs with a warm light appearance have yellow tones. A bulb’s estimated yearly energy cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.
LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than other technologies. They generate little heat and withstand vibration.
Halogen bulbs are slightly more energy efficient than incandescent bulbs, but they generate more heat. They have a glass lens that will contain glass shards if the bulb breaks.
Bulbs that cannot be sold to the regions listed do not meet local energy efficiency requirements.
