Twist-Claw Hose Couplings for Air and Water

Also known as Chicago and universal couplings, these have an identical claw-style head that allows you to connect to another Chicago twist-claw hose coupling, regardless of the pipe size or barbed hose ID. To connect, push two couplings together with a quarter twist. Couplings have a safety clip and lanyard to prevent accidental disconnection.
Couplings with a barbed end insert into rubber hose and secure with a clamp.
Wye couplings are also known as three-way hose couplings. Use them to connect one inlet to two outlets.
Iron couplings are stronger and more durable than other metal couplings. Use in noncorrosive environments. Zinc-plated steel couplings have fair corrosion resistance and should be used primarily in dry environments. Brass couplings are softer than other metal couplings, so they’re easier to thread together. They have good corrosion resistance. 316 stainless steel couplings have excellent corrosion resistance. They’re the best choice for high-humidity environments.
Warning: There is no valve in these couplings. Stop the flow of air and water before you disconnect the line.

Spring-Lock Twist-Claw Hose Couplings for Air and Water

Prevent accidental disconnection with these couplings—they have a spring-loaded locking sleeve that automatically locks into place when you connect the coupling. Also known as Chicago and universal couplings, they have an identical claw-style head that allows you to connect to any other spring-lock twist-claw hose coupling. To connect, push two couplings together with a quarter twist. To disconnect, slide the locking sleeves back and twist the couplings apart. Couplings are iron, which is strong and durable. Use in noncorrosive environments.

Warning: There is no valve in these couplings. Stop the flow of air and water before you disconnect the line.

Extra-Large Twist-Claw Hose Couplings for Air and Water

Also known as universal couplings, these have an identical claw-style head that allows you to connect to any other extra-large twist-claw hose coupling. To connect, push two couplings together with a quarter twist. Couplings include a safety clip to prevent accidental disconnection. They are made of iron, which is strong and durable, and have a black painted finish for fair corrosion resistance. Use in noncorrosive environments.
Warning: There is no valve in these couplings. Stop the flow of air and water before you disconnect the line.
Large Twist-Claw Hose Couplings for Air and Water

Also known as universal couplings, these have identical claw-style heads and connect by being pushed together with a quarter twist.
Universal Quick-Disconnect Hose Sockets for Air
Sockets accommodate five common plug shapes: Industrial, ARO, Lincoln, Tru-Flate, and European. Use them with a plug of the same coupling size to frequently connect and disconnect your line. Sockets are push-to-connect style. To connect, push the plug into the socket until you hear a click. To disconnect, slide the sleeve on the socket forward until the plug ejects. Sockets have a shut-off valve that stops the flow when the coupling is separated, so air won’t leak from the line. They are brass for good corrosion resistance.
Sockets with a push-on barbed end have sharp barb that grip rubber push-on hose with no clamps or ferrules required. the more you pull on the fittings, the tighter the hose will grip. To ensure proper connection, the barbed end has to be pushed in all the way, with the hose end concealed by the ring.
