Tension-Indicating Washers for Structural Applications
When you’ve applied the correct tension, these washers release an orange dye as a visual indicator.
ASTM F959 Type A325 washers are designed for use with A325 structural screws, studs, and nuts and are often used for construction and exterior building applications. They’re not for use with higher tensile strength bolting. Galvanized A325 washers have excellent corrosion resistance. Galvanized Class 8.8 washers are ten times as corrosion resistant as zinc-plated steel washers. Since they are strong and rust resistant, these washers are often used for construction and on building exteriors.

Square Washers
Square washers fit into slots and channels and have flat sides to keep them from rotating. They are wider and thicker than most round washers, making them good for distributing heavy loads.
Galvanized steel washers are 10 times as corrosion resistant as zinc-plated steel washers.

Flanged Washers for Cross-Bracing
These washers have a flange to spread force across structural beams better than standard washers for cross-bracing rods and cables. Their top surface is curved to let rods pass through and be secured with a nut at different angles. The bottom surface is flat to sit flush with structural beams. These washers have a locking tab that keeps them in place when force is applied. They’re also known as hillside washers.
Galvanized washers resist corrosion better than primed washers.

Washers for Plaster
Repair sagging, cracked plaster with these washers. The holes allow plaster to flow through to form a secure bond between the washer and the wall. Use these washers with self-sinking flat head (bugle head) screws. They are galvanized steel for corrosion resistance in wet environments.

Hinged-lid baskets have a hole to secure with a wire tie or other fastener.
Sit-on-Top Strut Channel Washers
Add hardware to strut channel without having to hold the washer in place or reach inside the channel. Use with hex nuts to connect threaded rod.
Galvanized steel washers have better corrosion resistance in wet environments than zinc-plated steel and can be used outdoors.
