    Semi-Flexible Wire Rope

Image of Product. 1 × 7 Strand Core. Front orientation. Wire Rope. Semi-Flexible Wire Rope, 1 × 7 Strand Core Wire Rope.

    1 × 7 Strand Core

Support utility poles, scaffolding, and masts with our most rigid wire rope. Formed with fewer and thicker wires than other rope, it won't bend easily, keeping fixtures upright and stable under tension.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
18-8 Stainless Steel—With solid stainless steel construction, this wire rope has no plating that could wear away. It resists rust, but it won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
Wire Rope Construction—Strand core rope is crush and impact-resistant.
Preformed—With each wire shaped into a spiral before being twisted onto the rope, they maintain their shape when cut. This keeps them from unraveling or poking equipment and users.

    Wire Rope

    7 × 7 Strand Core

The most common wire rope for hanging fixtures, tethering equipment, and constructing barriers. It balances flexibility and abrasion resistance —you can bend it if needed, but it has fewer wires that could break over time, so it lasts longer.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
18-8 Stainless Steel—With solid stainless steel construction, this wire rope has no plating that could wear away. It resists rust, but it won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
Wire Rope Construction—Strand cores are more crush and impact-resistant than hollow cores. However, you can run electrical wiring or fluid conduit through hollow core ropes.

    Coated Wire Rope

    7 × 7 Strand Core

Hang fixtures and tether equipment without scratching hooks and other nearby objects. The plastic coating on this wire rope prevents abrasion while further protecting the inner wires from corrosion and damage. All rope is manufactured in the U.S.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
18-8 Stainless Steel—With solid stainless steel construction, this wire rope has no plating that could wear away. It resists rust, but it won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
FEP Coating—Our most chemical-resistant coating stands up to the harshest acids and bases.
Nylon Coating—Resists abrasion better than other coatings. It also stands up to mild chemicals, but will swell if exposed to moisture.

    Low-Stretch Coated Wire Rope

Image of Product. Front orientation. Wire Rope. Low-Stretch Coated Wire Rope.
This wire rope won't stretch out under load. Stretched during manufacturing, it maintains a precise, consistent amount of tension without elongating during use. Use it in cable-driven systems to avoid extra stretch that could affect how they move. The plastic coating protects the inner wires and keeps them from scratching nearby objects.
    Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
