Choosing an Electrical Switch

30 mm Emergency Stop Panel-Mount Push-Button Switches

Immediately cut power with a single push. These switches are rated for protection from low-pressure streams of water and oil/coolant spraying. They have positive force contacts that will open a circuit when actuated even if a spring fails or the contacts stick. Switches include enough contact blocks to control the number of circuits listed.

Turn twist switches back on by twisting the button and pull switches by pulling it. Add an optional lockout on either kind to cover the button and prevent changes its position.

Switches with lockout latch when you depress the button, and can be locked in that position using a lockout or padlock with a 9/32" shackle diameter.

Note: Illuminated switches include a bulb. If wiring the switch and the bulb to the same circuit, the circuit voltage must not exceed bulb voltage.

Additional contact blocks (sold separately) can be added to control more circuits, or to replace the included contact block.

More durable than standard metal switches, these can handle tough, repetitive use. They're rated NEMA 4, 13, and IP66 for protection from washdowns and oil/coolant spraying. They include enough contact blocks to control the number of circuits listed.

Note: Illuminated switches include a bulb. If wiring the switch and the bulb to the same circuit, the circuit voltage must not exceed bulb voltage.

Switches with seven interchangeable caps include caps in different colors that snap onto the actuator, allowing you to change the actuator color without replacing the entire switch.

Choose an actuator and contact block to make your own switch. All switches are rated for protection from washdowns and oil/coolant spraying. NEMA 4X rated switches are also protected from corrosion. Use legend plates (not included) to label switches.

Key actuators are keyed alike, so they will all open with the same key.

Switch guards protect flush and projecting switches from accidental activation.
