Handheld	Bench and Handheld Mount

Live stream your inspection in tight spots. These cameras reach into cramped areas to give you eyes into spaces that would otherwise be difficult to access and see. Use the downloadable app and built-in Wi-Fi connection to quickly sync your smartphone or tablet to these cameras and start streaming. You can also save photos and videos using the app to collaborate with others, analyze what you find, and diagnose issues.

A bright, LED light illuminates the field, so you can see in dim and dark areas. Turn the brightness of the light down to reduce glare on reflective surfaces. A textured grip on the handle gives you a secure hold, even if your hands are wet or oily.

Handheld—Handheld cameras work well with heavy equipment that can’t be moved. Move and manipulate the position of the camera to see in and around objects.

Bench Mount—Bench-mount cameras are best when you want to keep your hands free. Stick the base onto magnetic surfaces for a secure hold or mount it more permanently with screws. The arm has ball joints that rotate to maneuver the camera 360°, while still holding it in position better than a gooseneck arm.

Compact Illuminated Video Microscopes

Bench Top

Inspect the finest of details with the smallest of microscopes. While slim and less than six inches long, these microscopes have maximum magnification levels of 200X and above. Illuminating Glass Fiber Bundles

Light up small and hard-to-reach areas. These bundles are often used in fiberscopes and borescopes. They’re also good for lighting small areas in models, prototypes, and circuit boards. They transmit all colors of visible light and some wavelengths of infrared light.

For precise lighting, they have two layers—the outer layer keeps light contained within the inner glass core. Bundles with a larger diameter have more fibers, so they give off more light.

A separate light source is needed to illuminate them. Connect them to an LED strip or other light source using heat-shrink tubing or a fitted part, such as a ferrule. They’re not for use in telecommunication cables.

0.55 Numerical Aperture—Fiber bundles with 0.55 numerical aperture cover a smaller area than those with 0.66 numerical aperture, making them good for lighting angles that have less space.

0.66 Numerical Aperture—Choose fiber bundles with 0.66 numerical aperture for general purpose illumination.

Borosilicate Glass—Made of borosilicate glass, the fibers resist greater heat and transmit light better than plastic fibers.

Numerical Aperture—The numerical aperture describes the maximum angle of light each fiber accepts and emits. To send light efficiently, use a light source with an angle at or below the numerical aperture.

Compact UV and White Light Video Microscopes

Catch defects you’d otherwise miss by switching between UV light and white light. The UV LEDs on these microscopes illuminate fluorescent dyes, particles, and chemicals, making leaks and cracks easy to spot. The white LEDs mimic natural daylight for clear, shadow-free inspections of fine details. If you’re working with reflective surfaces, adjust the brightness of the white light to reduce glare. An alternative to borescopes, they're often squeezed into dark, tight spaces. While slim and roughly 4” long, these microscopes can make objects appear up to 220 times larger.

Connect them to a computer to watch a live feed of your inspection and record photos and videos with the included software. The software also lets you measure the object you’re viewing.
