Self-Aligning Rectangular Weld Nuts

Help screws pass through perfectly every time. These nuts float inside a rectangular retainer that shifts and tilts to compensate for misalignment. A pilot tip locates the hole, and the retainer holds the nut in place during welding.

Steel with Steel Retainer—Best for dry environments since moisture will create rust. Weld them to steel surfaces.

Zinc-Plated Steel with Steel Retainer—A step up from a plain steel nut, the zinc plating on these nuts withstands occasional exposure to moisture. Weld them to uncoated steel surfaces.

Zinc-Plated Steel with Aluminum Retainer—Both the nut and retainer can withstand occasional exposure to moisture. Weld them to aluminum surfaces.

18-8 Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel Retainer—Suitable for outdoor use, both the nut and its retainer resist rust from water and mild chemicals. Weld them to stainless steel surfaces.
