Low-Pressure Threaded Flow-Adjustment Valves

- Valve Type: Globe
- For Use With: Water
- Specifications Met: See table
Use these valves for boiler maintenance and other low-pressure plumbing applications. They gradually open and close with multiple turns of the wheel handle to adjust and regulate flow. All have a rising stem that lifts as the valve opens and lowers as the valve closes to provide a visual indication of whether flow is on or off.

Compact Threaded On/Off Valves
Install these valves in tight spots, such as where pipelines are crowded together. They’re less than half as long as standard threaded valves and one-third shorter in height.
Bronze valves are stronger and more durable than brass valves. Short-lever handles and T-handles resist accidental movement when snagged or bumped.Screwdriver-operated valves are our most compact option. Since they open and close with a slotted screwdriver (not included), they’re also the most resistant to accidental movement.
Valves with threaded outlets can connect to pipe or hose, giving you more control over where your fluid flows than valves with a drain or spout outlet.
Valves with a drain or spout outlet direct flow to a drain or bucket with minimal splashing. Install valves with a drain outlet to the bottom of a tank. Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.
