Harsh Chemical Neutralizing Granular Sorbents

Sop up hydrofluoric acid, solvent, and formaldehyde spills with these granular sorbents. They safely absorb and neutralize chemical spills in a single step.

Granules

For Solvents—Solvent sorbents lock in cleaners, thinners, and fuels such as toluene, mineral spirits, acetone, and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). Unlike other sorbents, they capture harmful vapors and elevate the flash point of the spill to 140° F to reduce flammability.

For Formaldehyde—Formaldehyde sorbents soak up formaldehyde and other aldehyde solutions. They also suppress their hazardous vapors.

Acid and Base Neutralizing Granular Sorbents

Neutralize and absorb corrosive liquids in a single step. These mineral-based sorbents spread over spills to quickly lock in and neutralize acids or bases.

Granules

For Acids—Use sorbents for acids on spills such as battery or hydrochloric acid. Not for use with hydrofluoric acid.

For Bases—Use sorbents for bases on spills such as sodium hydroxide or ammonia solutions.

Perlite—The sorbent made of perlite will change color when acid or base neutralization is complete.
