Compared to constant-force springs, these are easier to pull at first but become harder to pull the farther you extend them. Use them for applications where the load becomes lighter as the spring contracts, such as in automated dispensing machines. All are stainless steel for corrosion resistance. Clip the end onto a flat surface to install—no fasteners needed. Once installed, these springs pull back with the same amount of force no matter how far you extend them. Compact and tightly coiled, they extend to multiple times their length to pull objects in a linear direction. All are stainless steel for corrosion resistance. When using, please allow for 1 ½ extra coils on the shaft at full extension to hold the spring in place.
