Nonmarring Pliers for Filters and Fittings
Replaceable jaw pads protect delicate materials such as glass and ceramic against damage. These tools have curved jaws that get the best possible grip on round objects such as oil filters, connectors, and PVC pipe. Also known as cannon plug pliers, they were first designed to remove stuck cannon plug connectors in aircraft. Now, plumbers often use them to grip sensitive plumbing fixtures and fittings that can be marred by regular pliers. The handles have plastic grips for comfort.
Pliers with slide adjustment change the jaw position when you slide the pivot point.
Pliers with push-button adjustment change the jaw position when you hold the button down, then lock in place once you release it.

Pliers for use with relays have an offset handle and thin tips to access relays in confined areas. The tips are angled to fit a relay cover’s slots or edge, allowing you to pop the relay free from the socket without damage.
Pliers for use with fiber-optic connectors insert and extract LC connectors in tightly packed patch panels. They’re for LC and SC simplex, MU, and other similar connectors. One jaw has a rubber strip, so you can safely and securely grip connectors without damaging them.
Pliers for use with locking-tab connectors have a hook-shaped tip that pulls and unlocks the tab, allowing you to squeeze the tab to easily disconnect it.
Pliers with spring-assisted jaws automatically open when you release the handles.
