Building Cable
- Use For:
NM-B, THHN: Buildings
UF-B, THHN: Buildings, Outdoors - Bend and Stay
- Temperature Range: 10° to 190° F
- Insulation: PVC Plastic
Rated for in-wall installation, this cable carries power to wall outlets. Also known as branch circuit wire, it can be used without conduit. It has solid THHN building wires, so the cable will stay in the shape you bend it. The uninsulated ground wire is not counted in the number of wires.
UF-B cable is for wet locations where cable may be exposed to moisture or humidity. It's often used as underground feeder cable for pumps and lighting. The insulation resists moisture and UV light.

Water-Block Control Cable
- Use For: Buildings, Outdoors
- Flexible
- Temperature Range: 0° to 220° F
- Insulation:
Outer: Fiber; PVC Plastic
Inner: PVC Plastic
Keep water from damaging wires—this cable has a layer of absorbent material that traps moisture before it reaches the internal wires. Use it in washdown areas, indoor/outdoor transitions, and direct burial without conduit. It sends signal and data to operate, measure, or regulate automated equipment.

UV-Resistant Wire
- Use for outdoors, buildings, solar equipment, power supply
- Flexible
- Temperature Range: -40° to 190° F
- Insulation: Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
Also known as photovoltaic (PV) wire, this wire won’t deteriorate from UV light when used outdoors. Often used in solar panels, the cross-linked polyethylene (XPLE) insulation won’t break down from prolonged exposure to high temperatures. The insulation also resists chemicals. An RHW-2 industry designation means this wire withstands underground and wet locations.
