    Drill Drifts

Separate Morse taper shank tools and arbors from machine spindles and adapters. To use, insert these drill drifts into the spindle slot, and either tap with a hammer or push down on the lever to free the cutting tool. Also known as drift keys.
Lever Shank Removal—Lever shank removal drill drifts protect your spindle from wear because you don’t need to tap them. Instead, they provide steady, increasing pressure to gradually remove the tool. They also leave you with a free hand to catch the Morse taper tool as it releases.
    For Machine Taper No.
