Floor-Mount Fume Exhausters
Mount these exhausters to the floor to remove fumes, vapors, and fine dust particles from your space. They are commonly used in welding, soldering, and other operations that create fumes.
Note: Airflow depends on the resistance created by ductwork. This resistance, known as static pressure (SP), is measured in inches of water.
Use open dripproof exhausters in relatively clean, dry, well-ventilated indoor locations.
Totally enclosed exhausters have an external fan for cooling. These exhausters offer more protection than open dripproof exhausters. They can be used in dirty, dusty, and damp environments, but are not airtight.
Single-duct kits (sold separately) maximize airflow at one fume collection point. They include a hose, a nozzle, and two clamps.
Dual-duct kits (sold separately) create two points for fume collection, although each will have lower airflow than the one collection point of a single-duct kit. These kits include two hoses, two nozzles, four clamps, and a wye connector.

Shop Hoods
These hoods protect against paint and dust. Wear with protective eyewear.
Style A are also known as paint spray hoods. The interior is large enough to wear a respirator under the hood. These hoods are made of lightweight, breathable cotton with an acetate lens.
Style B are often worn during abrasive blasting and grinding jobs. They are made of durable cotton duck fabric with an acrylic lens that is reinforced with a mesh screen. An internal bump cap protects your head against impact from flying debris. Mesh vents on the sides and back provide some breathability.
Shop Face Masks
Also known as painters' spray socks, these face masks are often used to protect against paint and dust. They are made of breathable, washable cotton.

Disposable Hoods
Breathable to keep you cool and comfortable, these hoods protect against dirt and grime. An elastic face opening keeps hair in and contaminants out.
Polypropylene offers economical protection in environments where abrasion resistance and liquid splashes are not a concern.
Tyvek polyethylene provides better tear and abrasion resistance than polypropylene. It holds up to occasional contact with nonhazardous liquids, such as water and paint spray. It is made of heat- and pressure-bonded fibers that form a barrier that's soft yet strong.
Kleenguard polypropylene is made of five layers of nonwoven fabric, so it is more abrasion resistant and harder to tear than Tyvek polyethylene. It holds up to occasional contact with nonhazardous liquids, such as water and paint spray. The material is antistatic, so it protects sensitive equipment from electrostatic discharge.
Clean Room Hoods
Designed to meet clean room standards, these hoods act as a barrier between the worker and the room to prevent pollutants, such as dust particles and microbes, from contaminating a space.
Lower clean room classes have fewer and smaller contaminants.
Tyvek polyethylene holds up to occasional contact with nonhazardous liquids, such as water and paint spray. It is made of heat- and pressure-bonded fibers for a material that’s soft yet strong. These hoods are disposable.
Polyester greatly outlasts Tyvek polyethylene. It withstands liquid splashes and abrasion and is reusable when laundered to clean room standards—lasts for up to 100 washes. Must be laundered prior to first use.
Powered Air-Purifying Respirators
These mobile respirators filter contaminants to deliver breathable air without the need for an air line connection. The pump sits on your back to allow unrestricted movement, so these respirators are often used in welding, painting, and pharmaceutical applications. Made of Tychem 2000 (formerly known as Tychem QC), these hood respirators have two layers: an outer bib for overspray protection and an inner bib that tucks into your clothing for splash protection. Respirators include a rechargeable lithium ion (Li-Ion) battery that provides approximately four hours of continuous use when fully charged. Respirators have a ratchet suspension that adjusts with an easy-turn knob.
Supplied-Air Hood Respirators for Air Pumps
When connected to an air pump, respirators provide a continuous supply of clean air. They have a chemical-resistant Tychem 2000 (formerly known as Tyvek QC) hood that protects against light liquid splashes. Tuck the hood with outer bib and inner bib into your clothing for splash protection.
Pinlock suspension hats adjust with interlocking straps. Ratchet suspensions adjust with an easy-turn knob.
Add extension hose (sold separately) to increase your span up to 300 ft. To maintain NIOSH approval, respirators must be used with the hoses listed.
