    Motor-Actuated On/Off Valves

    Also known as actuated ball valves, these have a motor that can handle high flow rates and pressures. All operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow. Valves can be wired as normally closed unless actuated or normally open unless actuated. They don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation.
    The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear. A visual flow indicator on the top of the actuator shows whether the valve is open or closed. The manual override allows you to operate the valve during power outages.

    Easy-Maintenance Motor-Actuated On/Off Valves

    Maintain and repair these valves without unthreading pipe connections. They have a three-piece bolted body that disassembles inline for easy access to internal components. All operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow. Valves don't require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet for operation.     Body is 316 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear. Valves meet NEMA 4 for resistance to washdowns, splashing water, and dust.

    Motor-Driven Diverting Valves

    The motor on these valves can handle diverting applications with high flow rates and pressures. They operate on electricity to automatically divert flow between ports. Valves do not require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. Valves can direct flow from the center-port inlet to either side-port outlet. They cannot shut off flow. All are full port, so they do not restrict flow.
    The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear. A visual flow indicator on the top of the actuator shows which direction flow is being diverted. Two single pole, double throw (SPDT) auxiliary switches allow you to connect these valves to temperature-monitoring equipment, programmable logic controllers, or conveyor sirens. The internal heater automatically turns on when the valve is actuated to prevent motor damage caused by condensation buildup. A manual override allows you to operate the valve during power outages.

    Also known as proportional V-ball valves, these have a motor that adjusts and regulates flow in applications with higher flow rates and pressures than solenoid valves. As you increase the intensity of the electrical signal, the motor opens the valve, moving a ball with a V-cut opening that proportionately allows more flow as the valve opens. They're often integrated into PLC systems for automatic control over the valve position based on system conditions. Valves can accept both 4-20 mA current and 0-10 DC voltage. All are fail open unless actuated. They don't require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. All are full port, so they do not restrict flow.

    Easy-Install Plastic Motor-Actuated On/Off Valves

    Separate the union fittings on each end of these valves for fast installation and removal from pipelines. Valves come with both threaded NPT fittings and unthreaded socket-connect female fittings. They operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow. Valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. All can be wired as normally closed unless actuated or normally open unless actuated. They are full port, so they do not restrict flow.
    The actuator is secured to the valve body with a bracket for easy disassembly, maintenance, and repair. All valves meet NEMA 4X for resistance to washdowns, splashing water, corrosive liquid, and dust.

    To maintain sanitary standards in food and beverage applications, these valves have sanitary quick-clamp connections and polished internal surfaces for easy cleaning. The three-piece bolted body comes apart for access to internal components without unthreading pipe connections and removing the valve from your line. They have a ball-valve design that provides higher flow rates than other air-driven valves. All operate on compressed air to automatically start and stop flow faster than motor-driven valves. You must control the air to the actuator using either an electric pilot valve or a manual on/off valve (not included). These valves do not require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and the outlet for operation. All are full port, so they do not restrict flow.
    Body is 316 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear. A visual flow indicator on the top of the actuator shows whether the valve is open or closed. The manual override allows you to operate the valve during power outages.
    Single Acting—Single-acting actuators only require air pressure to open the valve; they automatically spring closed when the air turns off. These valves are fail closed unless actuated.
    Double Acting—Double-acting actuators require air pressure to open and close the valve. Once actuated, these valves remain actuated until air pressure is applied, so they do not have a valve starting position.
