Abrasion-Resistant Extension Cords with Inline Outlet Boxes


Style A	Style B

Also known as power stringers, these extension cords temporarily distribute power in demanding environments, such as construction sites, maintenance bays, and manufacturing floors. These cords are built with impact-resistant outlet boxes that won’t crack if dropped. The abrasion-resistant jacket resists damage from rough surfaces and constant foot traffic so conductors aren't exposed.

Style A—Also known as dead‑end power stringers, these cords have an outlet box at the end that should not be daisy‑chained to another extension cord. They're often used in small work areas, with power distribution boxes, and in places where you want to limit the total load on the circuit.

Style B—Also known as feed-through power stringers, these extension cords have a socket at the end to link multiple extension cords together from a single power source. They're often found in large construction zones and manufacturing lines.

Washdown Extension Cords

Suspendable Extension Cords with Outlet Box

Hang outlet boxes from the ceiling to keep cords off the floor and out of the way. These extension cords have a cable support grip on the plug for strain relief against bending and swinging. Although these cords meet OSHA strain-relief requirements, the outlet box must be placed on a flat surface, as these cords aren't rated for dangling loads. The CPE cable resists cracking and brittleness in greasy and damp environments, and the thick rubber outlet box helps prevent damage if struck.
