Diverting Valves with Fire-Fighting Hose Fittings

Control the flow of water in two directions from a single source—these diverting valves have two balls and handles for independent operation of each outlet. They can direct flow to one side outlet at full capacity while shutting off flow to the second side outlet, direct flow to both side outlets at reduced capacity, or shut off flow to both side outlets. Valves have a brass body for good corrosion resistance. They are for use with fire-fighting hose.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.
NH/NST (National Hose/National Standard) threads are only compatible with other NH/NST threads. Male NPSH (National Pipe Straight Hose) threads are compatible with female NPSH threads. Female NPSH threads are compatible with male NPSH, NPT, NPTF, and NPSM threads.

Fire-Fighting Hose Fittings
Connect these fittings to fire hydrants and washdown equipment. Made of brass, they have good corrosion resistance. Some have a hex in the middle so you can tighten them with a wrench.

Pin-Lug Fire-Fighting Hose Fittings
The pin lugs on these fittings allow for easy gripping, so you can quickly connect to fire hydrants and washdown equipment. Tighten with a hook-style spanner wrench (sold separately). All are brass for good corrosion resistance.
Fittings that swivel until tightened rotate to help prevent kinking during installation.

Color-Coded Quarter-Turn Shut-Off Valves for Hot and Cold Water
Quickly identify hot and cold water lines with these red or blue valves. The low-profile elbow shape and small handle are made to fit into tight spaces, such as plumbing outlet boxes (sold separately). Connect the NH/NST threads to a water hose on a washing machine or commercial plumbing fixture.
Valves with a solder-connect inlet are used for copper water lines.
Valves with a barbed inlet are compatible with Viega PEX tubing; attach them to your line with a crimping tool and crimping ring (both sold separately).
