Metal-Detectable Cardstock Write-On Tags

Label totes, ingredient bags, racks, and other items to keep your food processing plant organized. These tags are laminated with aluminum, so they’ll set off metal detectors if they fall into your line. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs to make sure contaminated food doesn’t leave your plant. They’re also FDA compliant for direct contact with food. You can leave them attached to batches of food as they cook, unless the oven temperature exceeds 400° F. To help you follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), they come in several colors—use one color for each line or area of your plant to reduce the chance of cross contamination.

Each tag has a top layer of cardstock that you can write on with a food-grade permanent marker or pen. The cardstock is durable; it resists water and chemicals. On the back, these tags have a glossy film that makes them hard to tear.

Metal- and X-Ray-Detectable Plastic Write-On Tags

Label machines and other equipment in your food processing plant while reducing the risk of contaminating the food. These tags contain metal and chemical additives that will set off metal detectors and show up on X-ray machines if they—or any piece of them—fall into your line. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs for food safety. Available in a variety of colors, they also help you follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Use one color for each line or area of your plant to reduce the chance of cross contamination. All of these tags are FDA compliant for direct contact with food.

Made of polypropylene, these tags withstand high-temperature washdowns and chemicals used for cleaning. Write on them with markers that are for use with food and beverage or laser engrave them.

They’re also blue with a lockout label on each side, so they’re easy to spot. The labels, however, are not detectable if they peel or scrape off. Dissolvable Laser Printer Labels

Label, rinse, repeat. These labels disappear after 30 seconds of contact with water, leaving no residue. Use them to temporarily tag containers that you wash often, such as beakers and flasks. They’re steam resistant, so they won’t dissolve in an autoclave. These labels are FDA compliant for indirect contact with food. Run them through any standard laser printer.
