These gaskets absorb electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to prevent inaccurate signals, flickering displays, and other electrical problems. Made of foam or rubber combined with conductive material, they compress to fill gaps and complete a grounding path around doors and access panels.

Sheets work well between two flat surfaces.

Half-round gaskets work well in grooves. Use a gasket slightly thicker than the depth of the groove; it will compress to fill the gap.

Polyurethane foam gaskets are covered with a conductive nickel/copper braided fabric. A nonconductive adhesive holds them in place. To protect sensitive equipment, they block at least twice as much interference as urethane foam gaskets. They meet UL 94V0, so they self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread the fire by dripping. Cut these gaskets to length with scissors.
