    About Pressure Gauges
    industrial info icon

Find a gauge with the right connection material and dial type—many with traceable calibration certificates.

    Vibration-Resistant Pressure Gauges

A liquid-filled dial reduces needle flutter for precise readings in high-vibration applications. Gauges are commonly used with pumps, filters, regulators, and in process lines to measure and display pressure. Mount them with the dial face upright.

    Flush-Mount Pressure Transmitters

The diaphragm on these transmitters mounts flush with your system’s connection, leaving no room for thick liquids to clog or harden. They’re often used to monitor pressure in wastewater, paint, and adhesive-dispensing applications. Also known as transducers, they convert pressure to an electrical signal that can be interpreted by receiving devices, such as remote displays, programmable logic controllers, and motor speed controls. For your receiving device to interpret the signal from the transmitter, you will need to calibrate it for the transmitter's pressure range and output signal. As pressure increases, the output signal from the transmitter will increase. Transmitters will only provide accurate readings within the rated pressure range.
All are rated IP67 and IP69K, so they'll withstand temporary submersion as well as high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns. CE marked, they meet European safety standards.
Connect using two wires. The same wire is used to send a signal to the receiver and to power the transmitter. Current doesn’t lose signal over long distances and isn’t affected by electrical interference from other devices.

    Pressure Transmitters with Digital Display

Read pressure directly at the source and send data remotely with one device. Also known as transducers, these transmitters convert pressure to an electrical signal that can be interpreted by receiving devices, such as remote displays, programmable logic controllers, and motor speed controls to monitor pressure or control equipment. As pressure increases, the output signal from the transmitter will increase. For your receiving device to interpret the signal from the transmitter, you will need to calibrate it for the pressure range and output signal of the transmitter. Transmitters will only provide accurate readings within the rated pressure range.
To change settings and receive error messages remotely from your PLC or computer, program one of the outputs to use IO Link. You need an IO-Link controller (not included) to connect to your interface.
All have an M12 plug to connect to M12 sockets. When using the analog output current they require two wires. The same wire is used to send a signal to the receiver and to power the transmitter. Current doesn’t lose signal over long distances and isn’t affected by electrical interference from other devices. These transmitters can also connect using three wires to send an analog output voltage—two wires into the power supply and a separate wire that sends a signal to the receiver. The receiver and the transmitter share a common ground wire back to the power supply. View switch wiring diagrams by selecting a part number and clicking Product Detail.
All transmitters are rated IP67 for protection from temporary submersion. UL and C-UL listed as well as CE marked, they meet strict American, Canadian, and European safety standards.

    Easy-Setup Differential Pressure Transmitters

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Differential Pressure Transmitters. Easy-Setup Differential Pressure Transmitters.
Measure the difference in pressure between two process lines without needing to program your receiving device to correct for errors. These transmitters automatically compensate for errors caused by vibration and temperature changes. Use the keypad to set the pressure range, choose the unit of measure, and zero the transmitter. These transmitters convert differential pressure to an electrical signal that can be interpreted by receiving devices, such as remote displays, programmable logic controllers, and motor speed controls to monitor pressure or control equipment. They're often used to indicate a filter is clogged or to maintain a certain pressure in HVAC systems, heat exchangers, chillers, and pumps. All transmitters meet IP66 and NEMA 4X for use in washdown and corrosive environments and have a hastelloy nickel diaphragm to resist harsh chemicals.
Transmitters will only provide accurate readings within the rated pressure range. These transmitters connect using two wires. The same wire is used to send a signal to the receiver and to power the transmitter. Current doesn’t lose signal over long distances and isn’t affected by electrical interference from other devices. They can also be configured using three or four wires.

Threaded RTD Probe Transmitters for Liquids and Gas

Send temperature readings directly to programmable logic controllers (PLCs)—with a built-in 4-20mA transmitter, these RTDs don’t require a separate signal converter. They have an NPT male probe connection, so they’re ready to screw into thermowells and other fittings on pipe and tanks. Made of 316 or 316L stainless steel, they resist corroding from harsh cleaning chemicals. This stainless steel also protects the RTD sensor inside from impact. They are also often installed in bores to measure the temperature of molds and dies. CE marked, they meet European safety standards.

Fixed Probe—Fixed RTDs can be used directly in liquid or steam because they’re welded to their fitting for a liquid-tight seal.
IO-Link Communication Protocol—RTDs with IO-Link let you remotely adjust settings, read measurements, and receive error messages when connected to a PLC via an IO-Link controller (not included). These RTDs meet EN 60751 Class A standards for temperature accuracy. UL and C-UL listed, they meet American and Canadian safety standards.

Hazardous Location Easy-Setup Differential Pressure Transmitters

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Differential Pressure Transmitters. Hazardous Location Easy-Setup Differential Pressure Transmitters.
Safe for use in environments where flammable gases and vapors are present, these transmitters measure the difference in pressure between two process lines without needing to program your receiving device to correct for errors. They meet NEC safety standards for protection against an explosion. These transmitters automatically compensate for errors caused by vibration and temperature changes. Set the pressure range with the keypad, select the unit of measure, and zero the transmitter. They convert differential pressure into an electrical signal that can be interpreted by receiving devices, such as remote displays, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and motor speed controls, to monitor pressure or control equipment. You’ll often see them used to indicate a clogged filter or help maintain a certain pressure in heat exchangers, chillers, HVAC systems, and pumps. Rated IP66 and NEMA 4X, they protect against dirt, dust, corrosion, weather, and washdowns, and the hastelloy nickel connection protects against harsh chemicals.
Transmitters will only provide accurate readings within the rated pressure range. Most often, these transmitters connect using two wires. The same wire that sends a signal to the receiver also powers the transmitter. Current doesn’t lose signal over long distances and isn’t affected by electrical interference from other devices. Three- and four-wire configurations are also possible.

Threaded RTD Probe Transmitters with Digital Display for Liquids and Gas

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. RTDs. Threaded RTD Probe Transmitters with Digital Display for Liquids and Gas.
View temperature readings and adjust settings directly on these RTD probe transmitters. To communicate with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), they have a built-in transmitter with two outputs. One output can send a digital switching signal or use IO Link protocol with the addition of an IO Link controller (not included). The other can send a digital switching signal or a 4-20mA analog signal. The different output options make these RTDs good for a wide range of uses, including operating far away from a controller, taking automated measurements, and providing inputs to switching applications. All have an NPT threaded fitting welded onto the probe, so they’re ready to screw into containers, tanks, and pipes. Probe length is fixed. Made of 316L stainless steel, they are highly corrosion resistant.
These RTDs meet EN 60751 Class A standards for temperature accuracy. UL Listed, C-UL Listed, and CE Marked, all meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
