Left-Side Door Mounting Location | Right-Side Door Mounting Location |
Keep restroom stalls in service. Also known as gravity hinges, these use the weight of the door to close without the help of springs. They come in pairs, with one hinge for the top of the door and one for the bottom of the door.
Chrome-Plated Brass—These polished hinges are commonly found in public and office restrooms. They're best for temperature- and humidity-controlled environments.
304 Stainless Steel—With a more muted appearance than chrome-plated brass, these hinges are less likely to show scuffs and water spots. They also have better rust resistance for use in outdoor restrooms, locker rooms with showers, and other areas exposed to moisture.
Door Mounting Location—To choose a mounting location, stand on the push side of the door. Use a right-side hinge if the hinge is on the right, or a left-side hinge if it’s on the left.
