Corrosion-Resistant Wire Gripping and Cutting Pliers

Made of stainless steel or titanium, these pliers are good for environments where moisture and other contaminants are present. Also known as lineman’s and combination pliers, use them to pull, bend, and cut wire. The jaws have a flat area for general gripping and a curved area for round material.
Titanium pliers are nonmagnetic, so they are often used for work on MRI machines where magnetic tools can cause damage or injury.

Corrosion-Resistant Long-Nose Pliers


Made of stainless steel or titanium, these pliers are good for environments where moisture and other contaminants are present. Use their long jaws to grip, bend, and twist wire and other small workpieces. Titanium pliers are nonmagnetic, so they are often used for work on MRI machines where magnetic tools can cause damage or injury. Wide-nose pliers have tips almost twice as wide as those of standard long-nose pliers to give you a better grip on your work. They’re also known as duckbill and flat-nose pliers.
Cushion-grip pliers have plastic grips for comfort.

Tweezers

Tweezers with pointed tips give you a firm grip, but they can mar components. Tweezers with round tips won’t mar or nick components. However, they don’t hold objects as well as pointed tips. Titanium tweezers are strong and durable. Solder won’t stick to these tweezers. They are nonmagnetic and have excellent corrosion resistance.
Tweezers with a dull appearance won’t cause reflections and glare under a microscope.
