Extra-Corrosion-Resistant C-276 Nickel Rods

- Yield Strength: 41,000 psi
- Hardness: Rockwell B88 (Medium)
- Temper Rating: Softened (Annealed)
- Fabrication: Annealed
- Specifications Met: ASTM B574
C-276 nickel has excellent corrosion resistance against chemicals, including nitric acid, sulfuric acid, and hydrochloric acid. It resists chloride pitting better than stainless steel does. This alloy won’t stress crack from contact with sulfides, making it good for use in petrochemical applications. C-276 nickel is easy to weld and remains corrosion resistant after welding. It retains its strength after being reshaped. C-276 nickel is comparable to Hastelloy C-276.

Extra-Corrosion-Resistant C-276 Nickel Sheets and Bars

- Yield Strength: 41,000 psi
- Hardness: Rockwell B88 (Medium)
- Temper Rating: Softened (Annealed)
- Specifications Met: ASTM B575
C-276 nickel has excellent corrosion resistance against chemicals, including nitric acid, sulfuric acid, and hydrochloric acid. It’s better than stainless steel at protecting from chloride pitting, so it’s often used around bleach in paper manufacturing. This alloy also will not develop stress cracks from contact with sulfides, making it good for use in petrochemical applications. C-276 nickel is easy to weld and remains corrosion resistant after welding. It retains its strength after being reshaped. C-276 nickel is comparable to Hastelloy C-276.
