About Countersinks
Countersinks cut a cone-shaped opening to install screws and rivets flush with a surface or hold workpieces between centers on a lathe. They can also be used for chamfering and deburring.

Hex-Shank High-Speed Steel Countersinks for Screws

Pop these countersinks into power drills, screwdrivers, and other tools that accept 1/4" hex shanks. Tools grip their hex shanks more securely than round shanks to tackle jobs that require higher torque. Use them to create a 90° countersink angle that is compatible with metric flat- and oval-head screws so the screws will sit flush with your surface. These countersinks are also good for smoothing out holes, commonly known as deburring. All are high-speed steel for drilling wood and most metal and plastic.

Drill-Bit Countersinks with Drill Bit
These countersinks come attached to a high-speed steel jobbers’ bit for drilling and countersinking at the same time. They have a hex shank that fits in all quick-change and standard drill chucks. The bit is held in place with a set screw and can be adjusted up to 1” for different screw lengths. The 82° countersink angle is compatible with the profile of flat- and oval-head inch screws.

Quick-Change Combination Countersinking Drill and Screwdriver Bits

Drill, countersink, and drive screws without switching three separate bits in and out of your power tool. With a single hand, flip between drilling countersunk holes and driving screws. The countersinking drill and screwdriver bit are secured with set screws, so you can switch them out for any bits with a 1/4” hex shank.
The countersinking drill has an 82° angle, allowing inch-sized flat- and oval-head screws to sit flush with the surface.

Hex-Shank High-Speed Steel Countersink Sets for Screws

Choose countersinks of different sizes from these sets. Compared to countersinks with round shanks, these 1/4" hex-shank countersinks can be gripped more tightly by compatible drills and screwdrivers for greater torque. These countersinks cut at 90° angles suitable for metric flat-head and oval-head screws, and are also good for deburring holes or smoothing edges. Made from high-speed steel, use these on most metal and plastic.

Quick-Change Combination Countersinking Drill and Screwdriver Bit Sets

Fasten differently sized screws with these sets. They save you the effort of switching three separate bits in and out of a power tool, instead letting you flip between a countersinking drill and a screwdriver bit with a single hand. You can also attach your own countersinking drills and screwdriver bits as long as they have a 1/4” hex shank.
Countersinking drills have an 82° angle, allowing inch-sized flat- and oval-head screws to sit flush with the surface.
