How to Identify and Measure Fittings
Pipe size is an industry designation, not the actual size. View information about how to measure threaded and unthreaded pipe and pipe fittings.

Metal Barbed Hose Fittings for Air and Water
Slide the barbed end into rubber hose and secure with the appropriate clamp or crimp-on hose ferrule.
Bronze fittings have better corrosion resistance and are stronger than brass and aluminum fittings. A pipe thread sealant is recommended to seal bronze fittings with BSPP male threads, which is unlike other materials that can often use a gasket.
Fittings with a threaded end are also known as hose nipples.

Double Grip-Lock Hose Couplings for Air and Water

Also known as Thor couplings, these have two locking points to give you twice the gripping power of standard grip-lock couplings. To connect, push a plug and a socket (both sold separately) together with a quarter twist. Attach an optional locking ring (sold separately) to the socket for extra protection against accidental disconnection. All of the double grip-lock plugs are compatible with any of the double grip-lock sockets, regardless of the pipe size or barbed hose ID. Plugs and sockets are zinc-plated steel, which is strong and durable. They have fair corrosion resistance, so they should be used primarily in dry environments.
Sockets have a spring-loaded locking sleeve that automatically locks into place when you connect the coupling. To disconnect, slide the locking sleeve back and twist the coupling apart.
Sockets with a barbed end insert into rubber hose and secure with a clamp or a crimp-on hose ferrule.
Warning: There is no valve in these couplings. Stop the flow of air and water before you disconnect the line.

- Maximum Pressure: 300 psi @ 72° F
- Maximum Vacuum: 22 in. of Hg @ 72° F
- Temperature Range: -40° to 250° F
- Attachment Type: Use Band-and-Buckle Clamps or Crimp-On Hose Ferrules
- Compatible With: Dixon Dual Lock Couplings
Cam-and-Groove Hose Couplings for Vapor Recovery
Connect your hose to a cam-and-groove vapor recovery valve. The probe inside these couplings opens the valve when connected to start recovery. They’re often used when offloading fuel.
Socket adapters are also known as C couplers. Insert the barbed end into plastic or rubber hose and secure with a band clamp (not included).

- Maximum Pressure: 100 psi @ 72° F
- Temperature Range: -40° to 250° F
- Compatible With: Dixon Vapor Valves, PT Coupling Vapor Valves, OPW Vapor Valves

Barbed Tube Fittings for Drinking Water
- Temperature Range: 32° to 180° F
- Tubing:
All Fittings: Use with hard polyethylene plastic
Socket-Connect Fittings: Use with hard polyethylene plastic or copper - Specifications Met: See table
Connect these fittings to tubing with a ring and a crimping tool (both sold separately). They have multiple barbs that grip onto tubing for a secure hold. Fittings are compatible with Viega PEX tubing. Safe to use with drinking water, these fittings meet the strict standards of NSF/ANSI 61.
Copper tube size is the accepted designation of the copper tubing industry, not the actual tube OD.

Use a press-connect crimping tool to secure the press-connect end to tubing or the male socket-connect tube end of a fitting without heat or soldering. They have an internal O-ring that creates a leak-tight connection.

Heavy Duty Wash Guns
These durable wash guns are typically used for frequent washdowns and cleanup. Note: These guns should not be connected to steam lines.
Swivel inlet connection provides easier gun handling and prevents hose from kinking.
Bronze body wash guns are the economical choice. Guns with insulated body protect you from exposure to high water temperatures and minimized damage to the gun if dropped.
Style B are half the weight of other models.
Maintenance Kits—Have replacements for parts that are prone to wear.
