    Install these inserts in a K-code holder (sold separately) to cut precise threads on the outside of a workpiece. They’re designed to sit lower in a holder than other inserts, which keeps them from twisting and lets you thread closer to a shoulder. Their PVD coating keeps them sharper longer than CVD-coated inserts, so they’re good for cutting stainless steel. You can also use them to cut non-ferrous metals.
    Individual—Inserts sold individually come packed in a clear plastic case to protect cutting edges during shipment.
    Package—Inserts sold in packages come factory sealed from the manufacturer for maximum traceability.
