Insulation Testers
Measure electrical resistance as an indication of insulation quality in equipment such as motors, generators, and switchgear.
Digital displays show a numeric reading on an LCD. Display count is an industry designation and not an actual value. For example, a 1,000-count tester shows numbers up to 999. A higher display count means the tester can give a more precise measurement. Analog display shows the magnitude and rate of change so you can see rapidly changing resistance values more easily than on a digital display. Light indicator display has a scale with LEDs that light up to show the resistance as good, caution, or bad.
