Four arms and an extended tip help you guide these screws into holes with greater control. The arms of the head have more surface area to grip than knurled-head thumb screws. The extended tip acts like a dowel—it fits into mating holes, aligns and holds parts together, and prevents cross-threading. Use these screws for workpieces that you regularly reposition or align.
